Welcome to yoDrop! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the yoDrop mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Services") operated by URDROP (PTY) LTD ("yoDrop," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our Services, you ("User," "you," "Customer," or "Driver") agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Refund Policy, and Cancellation Policy. These Terms apply to all users in South Africa.

2. Governing Laws & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of South Africa.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation & Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to create an account. You are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information.

3.2 Account Types

Users can register as either:

  • Customers – Request and manage deliveries.
  • Drivers – Accept and fulfill delivery requests.
3.3 Account Security

Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their accounts and must report unauthorized access immediately.

4. Services Offered

4.1 For Customers
  • Request and schedule deliveries.
  • Track deliveries in real-time.
  • Securely pay for services.
4.2 For Drivers
  • Accept delivery requests.
  • Earn based on completed Drops.
  • Manage schedules and availability.
4.3 Nature of Services

yoDrop is a technology platform connecting Customers and Drivers. We do not provide transportation services directly.

5. User Responsibilities & Conduct

5.1 General Conduct

Users must comply with South African laws and refrain from misuse of the Services.

5.2 Customer Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate delivery details.
  • Ensure items comply with legal requirements.
5.3 Driver Responsibilities
  • Maintain required licenses and vehicle safety.
  • Ensure timely and professional deliveries.
5.4 Prohibited Conduct
  • Illegal or unauthorized use.
  • Interfering with Services or misleading others.

6. Payment Terms

6.1 Fares & Pricing

Fares depend on distance, time, and demand. Estimates are provided before confirming a Drop. The fares are priced in South African Rand (ZAR) currency.

6.2 Payment Methods

Accepted payment methods include VISA, MASTERCARD. Secure transactions are processed using industry-standard encryption.

Drivers are paid every week, on a Thursday.

yoDrop is not liable for any damages resulting from the use of Services beyond amounts paid in the last 6 months.
